Creme Fraiche Green Butter
Crème FraÎche Green Butter is a tangy rich flavor combination that perfectly enhances a variety of savory foods. The cultured cream plus the healing properties that the aromatics in this recipe have, not only taste delicious but are good for you! Great with vegetables, meats, or a loaf of crusty bread.
What You'll Need:
2 Cartons of Snowville Creamery Crème FraÎche
1 cup of fresh parsley
5 cloves of garlic
Zest from 1 lemon
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp of freshly ground pepper
Dump Crème Fraiche into a food processor.
Blend until butter and milk become separated.
Strain off liquid from butter. Gather the butter in your hands or cheesecloth and squeeze all the liquid from the butter. Put the butter back into the food processor and add cold water, blend, drain off the water and repeat until the water runs clear.
Add parsley, garlic cloves, lemon zest, salt and pepper to the food processor.
Turn food processor onto high speed until all the ingredients are blended together.
Transfer the butter into a small dish for serving.
