A Face from Snowville Amanda Norman Amanda became a Snowville Creamery team member a little under a year ago. With a bachelor’s degree in animal science, specifically focused on dairy science, was just one of the reasons that made her a sure fit to become Snowville’s first Farm Representative. With her charming smile, electric personality and her ability to skillfully accomplish any given task, Amanda has been a valuable resource to Snowville, especially to the farmers that sell their milk to Snowville. Amanda works one on one with the farmers to help them with all sorts of things, ranging from the individual farm’s cow health to overall communication between Snowville and the farmers. She also is a great resource to our curious customers who have questions about our farms farming practices. Since Amanda started working for Snowville she was tasked with helping Snowville’s farmers make the switch to feeding only non-GMO grain. Amanda has been working diligently and tirelessly working on this for many months, logging many hours talking and planning with each of the farmers about making the switch, finding a feed mill that would fit each farmers specific non-GMO feeding needs, and effortlessly tackling any details that presented a challenge in making this major change. As if being a major part of Snowville making the switch to non-GMO grain isn’t a huge and admirable task in and of itself, we can also attribute our informative and interactive website to Amanda’s diligence and intelligence. Amanda meticulously and systematically overhauled our entire website to include lots of great information about anything and everything you would want to know about Snowville Creamery. You don’t have to spend very much time around Amanda to know that she is incredibly bright, caring, kind-hearted, loyal, and hard working individual. Now perhaps you understand why Amanda is an incredible resource and friend to Snowville Creamery, our farmers, our customers, and her coworkers.
